What People Ask Before Starting

Do you require a minimum contract length or volume commitment?▾

No. The Per-Event and Per-Well models have no minimum commitment. We recommend starting with a free pilot test — if the output meets your standards, we discuss a program. If it doesn't, you owe us nothing and have lost 48 hours. The Retainer + Software model does involve a monthly commitment given the reserved capacity and software development hours, but this is discussed and agreed before any contract is signed.

How do you price? Why isn't pricing listed on this page?▾

We don't list pricing publicly because borehole microseismic programs vary enormously: event density, channel count, data quality, delivery cadence, and format complexity all affect scope. A 4-channel single-well pilot is a different engagement from a 32-channel, multi-well, real-time monitoring program. We'd rather have a 20-minute conversation and give you a real number than publish a rate that doesn't apply to your program. Contact us and we'll respond within one business day.

What data formats do you accept?▾

SEGY and SEG-D natively, plus most proprietary formats used by major acquisition vendors. If you're unsure, send us a sample header — our data engineers will assess it within 24 hours and tell you exactly what the ingestion process looks like.

How do you handle data security and confidentiality?▾

All client data is transferred and stored under encryption. We operate under standard NDA before any data is shared. Data is retained only for the duration of active engagement and deleted upon client request. We do not use client datasets for model training without explicit written consent. We're happy to work under your organization's MSA if you have a preferred template.

Can we start with a pilot and transition to a per-well program?▾

Yes — that's the most common path. The pilot uses the same calibration and QA/QC process as a production program, so transition is seamless. We retain the calibration parameters, velocity model alignment, and pick style baseline from the pilot so there's no re-onboarding required when you move to production.

Who is our point of contact? Will we deal with a sales team?▾

No sales team. Your first contact will be a senior geophysicist or a technical account lead — someone who can answer questions about your data, not just schedule calls. On Per-Well and Retainer engagements, you get a named point of contact for the duration of the program.
